How do I add a buddy?
From your dashboard, expand the "Add a buddy" section and enter the username of the buddy you'd like to add.
Alternatively, use the "Add Buddy" from a profile page to automatically send a buddy request.
What does being buddies actually do?
The progress of your buddies on their writing goals shows up in the list of buddies on your dashboard. Being buddies also lets you see projects marked as private that would not be visible otherwise.
Why don't my projects show up on my profile?
This is a planned feature, coming soon.
How do I add a link in my profile bio?
Your "About the Author" field (Dashboard > Account settings) supports Markdown, including custom links:
[Link Text](https://example.com)
Why can't I see or update progress on a goal?
Goals that are not yet active do not include a progress indicator. If you entered the incorrect month for a goal, you can edit it from your dashboard.
This site looks a bit basic.
That's not really a question! But a tidy-up is planned once the site's essential features are in place.
Can I support you financially?
Sure! Writing Month's server costs are covered, but if you'd like to support Benjamin Hollon's work, you can on Liberapay. Every little bit helps make projects like this possible!
What if my question isn't in this list?
There are many feature requests and issues being actively worked on at the moment, please see the issues list for up-to-date info.
